History

This section introduces the history of our business growth from our founding to the present.

1980	November	Shinichiro Maeta established Kyoritsu Seisakusho, Ltd. in Yasunaga, Tottori.
1990	April	Established Kyoritsu Machinery Co., Ltd. taking over the business of Kyoritsu Seisakusho, Ltd. (Capital: 20 million yen) for the purpose of designing, manufacturing, and selling various automatic machines, FA equipment, and measuring and testing equipment.
1991	March	Relocated headquarters and plant to 32-2, Chiyomi 1 chome, Tottori (Current Address).
1995	February	Increased capital to 35 million yen through capital participation of Nidec.
1997	December	Increased capital to 100 million yen through third-party allotment to Nidec and others.
1998	January	Kyoritsu Machinery Co., Ltd. changed its name to Nidec Machinery Corporation and became a member of the Nidec Group.
1999	July	Expanded development and production systems through addition of head office and plants.

2002	March	Established Nidec Equipment (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. in Pinghu City, Zhejiang Province, China, jointly with 5 Nidec group companies. Started production (processing and assembly) and procurement of parts and materials in the 4th Division in September.
2009	April	Established Nidec Machinery (Zhejiang) Corporation in Pinghu City, Zhejiang Province, China
2014	April	Opened Dalian Branch Office in Dalian City, Liaoning Province, China Nidec in Dalian
2016	May	Opened Mexico Branch Office in Nidec Automotive Motor Mexicana Nidec in Mexico.
2018	February	Opened Keihanna Branch Office in Nidec Production Engineering Research Institute in Kyoto Prefecture. Production Technology Research Institute
2018	April	Opened Shiga Branch Office in Nidec Shiga Technical Center. Nidec Shiga Technology Development Center
2019	April	Nidec Machinery (Zhejiang) Corporation is building No.2 Plant next to No.1 Plant. Completion scheduled for January 2020
